Robert and I talked about our possible topic that he and I can use for 3~5 minutes podcast assignment. He and I both clearly know what we want to talk about our podcast.
Robert want to expand his point in the webtext about ethical issues of human cloning and I want to talk about how poverty driven people to piracy in Somalia. This could be our main point. We helped each other about our opening, content, and closing. Robert suggested me to start my overview with the introduce of issue which is piracy in Somalia and describe the poverty situation of Somalia. I think this expanding example of Somalia will well-suited with my webtext because it is reality example of poverty effects people lives.
Ethos, logos, and pathos appeals in the information about writing a podcast script. Ethos appeals by style of writing in this article which was numbering the important points of the information. This appeal make this article credible for those of who seek for information about podcast. Logos appeals in this article by more information links and checklists on the bottom of the page. finally, pathos appeals in the example sentences because it appeals good reason why or why not follow this information.

Peer Review & Conference
As both Jen and Mrs. Medley pointed out, I need to explain little bit more deeply about each limitation. For improve the point of limitation, I'm thinking about give an example of each limitation to help people to understand it better. Also, there are couple of things that I'm planning to do for enhance my point in MM webtext. First of all, after economic poverty explanation, I'm going to describe why economic poverty is big issue and give example of country that indicate this situation. Second, I am planning to reword some of the limitations, add new aspects and details to each of limits. finally, I am planning to improve my conclusion by providing suggestion of future relief activities.
Both Instructor conference and peer review was great encourage to me because I felt that I'm on right on track for everything. When I was try to finish my 1000 words webtext, I felt exact opposite feeling so, it was great to have the time to revised my current work. Also, Jen's peer review was give me a possible direction that I can consider about so, it was very helpful for me.

Instructor Conference
To be honest, I was really struggle with 1000 words draft in Sunday night because I ran out or couldn't think of details that I want to put in my draft. So, I was really discourage by that even though I made 1000 words somehow. However, the instructor conference with Mrs. Medley was really helpful to me because she gave me a good feedback and encourage me to continue to develop my work. She and I were not discuss whole lot of things because my conference was Wednesday which was I have a time to fix my problem that she point out and send me through Email. Also, It was very productive because I was able to discuss some of the details that I'm planning to add in my webtext with my instructor.

1000 words webtext group work
Today, Jennifer give some good suggestion that helps me to improve my 1000 words webtext. She thinks that I am on right track for the small stuff like chunk paragraph and images. However, she points out that makes a hyperlink on organization like World Food Programme and International Monetary Fund so that people who want to know more about the organization can get information about it. Also, she gives me good reword suggestion of sentence that I struggles on wording.
For the rhetorical appeals, we are both agrees that I used combination of all three appeals on my webtext. Also, we are agree that pathos is the strongest one because the image that I used touches people emotions. However, I also thinks that logos is stronger like pathos because the information that I provide is not always approach to people emotion.

Part 1 Summary& Part 2 Synthesize
One of my important research pieces is Human Development Report 2007/2008 from United Nations Development Program. This report contains detailed information about global poverty statistics. For example, there are about 1 billion people who living with $1 US for their income and richest 20% around the world earned three quarter of global income. Also, this report mentions about statistics of Nutrition, child mortality, and Health which was all causes by poverty.
This research piece is very valuable to me because it contains reliable information about poverty around the world right now. The report itself doesn't focus on global poverty but international issues like climate change however it is still useful source to me. Also, this report is valuable because it answers my questions about how serious poverty is around the world? And what are important statistical facts that I can found about it? I found this report from the website in globalissue.org, the author of the website made the link to this report so it wasn’t hard to find at all.
Dr. Susan Hawley’s article of corruption is also one of my valuable research pieces. In this article, she focuses on growing corruptions of multinational companies which came from privatization of public enterprise. Also, she focused on governmental corruption which originated from Western government in most of the time and global organizational corruption like World Bank and International Monetary Fund which highly influenced by western government. Moreover, she mentioned about how global policies used as tools for corruption.
Even though this article provides very interesting piece of information to me, I’m not going to use all the portion of this article because it is talked about corruption itself so some of the topics are not related to global poverty. The portion that I’m definitely going to use is the Global Policies and Corruption part. I think this part is more suitable for my project because it provide the categories of concepts that affect poor countries economy which lead to poverty. This part gives me a brief explanation about what policies discourage the poor countries to escape the poverty. As same as Human Development Report 2007/2008, I found this article from the website that linked by author.
Our World is very lopsided in terms of economic. According to Human Development Report 2007/2008, there are about 1 billion people who lived with $1 US dollar a day. Also, while 40 percent of population around the world makes 5 percent of global incomes, wealthiest 20 percent earn more than three-quarter of global income. Why is this income inequality happening? Dr. Hawley wrote article that explains one of the factors of this incomprehensible incident: Corruption. Dr Hawley’s article focused a variety of different form of corruption. In her article, she mentions about global policies that proposed by World Bank and International Monetary Fund which lead to eliminate the chance for poor countries to grow economically and able to support their people and ultimately reduce the poverty rate.

Paraphrase
In 1920, drinking was illegal for the most part. However, this law was not functioning well because almost everyone had access on alcohol in the local pubs somehow. On the other hand, it was the era of great exchange of culture. For example, music like Jazz became popular in the Nations which was dominated by classical musics (Yancey 25).
All three of my group has different paraphrase of this paragraph. it is really hard to find the similarities between my paraphrase and theirs' because they got the main point of twenties lawlessness however, my paraphrase focused on drinking which was example of violated law.
The major differences of my paraphrase with possible answer was my paraphrase is more focus on example like Jazz and drinking violation however, the paragraph is more focuses on America in 20's.

Discuss
In my opinion, Mika did a great job on her summary about introduction of pharmaceutic ethics. Compared to summary that I write, her summary is more in-depth than mine because I know the article explained the terms and introduced the concepts but my prior knowledge is not deep enough to understand what is mentions about, so my summary in less deeper than Mika's.
Ashlee read my report about facts of income poverty and other issues. she and I both agree that it is a good facts and stats for my topics.

In class group work #3
Today, I finished the assignment about hypertext practice with Peggy. First, we reviewed hypertext writing style together because we both didn't do summary on that. Later, we help each other to figure out how to do on heading and hyperlink. I finished pretty earlier than usual because I have no problem on chunk the paragraph and single space. I think this is because I went to writing center to revise my 500 overview so I'm pretty happy about it.
